Making choices: How do you do it?

We’re faced with hundreds of choices every day – from what to have for breakfast to which brand of biscuits we buy in the supermarket. It’s easy to get choice fatigue, and just select whatever seems easiest of quickest. But of course, that can have consequences. And, in the context of cyber security, those consequences can be huge. That’s why this month’s blog is all about the behavioural science behind the choices we make – and the ways that Psybersafe uses that science to create engaging, habit-changing cyber training.  You can read the full blog here.

Could you offer Psybersafe to your members?

We work with governments and institutions to offer our Psybersafe training to organisations. If your business works within an umbrella organisation, why not suggest they offer our bite-sized cyber training as part of their offering? We’re always happy to talk to groups about how we can roll out our training – an easy way to ensure that member organisations have access to the best cyber training around!

Are retailers the new ‘cyber victim’?

News over the Easter break that Marks & Spencer had been targeted by a cyber gang showed just how easy it is for criminals to target retailers. In the case of M&S, hackers tricked the company’s IT Helpdesk to gain access to its systems – and the group responsible has said to watch out for more attacks to come. Here are the three big retailers who have been hacked in the last month alone.
