How lazy are you?

The truth is, we’re all a bit lazy. It’s common human behaviour. So we’re not getting at you personally. But we are saying that putting off small, simple fixes might be leaving you at the mercy of hackers.

In this month's blog, we look at our laziness and so we’ve got three quick and easy security tips to help you stay safer. We challenge you to do them all in under six minutes! Your accounts will be safer, your phone will be no use to a thief and your info will be safer on public Wi-Fi.

Go on. You know you want to.

New Belgian client joins Psybersafe

We are delighted that the Belgian government’s KMO / SME initiative recommended us to Stecker – a  small company providing sewing  and embroidery materials, machines and advice based in  Bertrix, a town in the south-east of Belgium. Stecker is now working with Psybersafe to deliver our online training programme to its staff.

And that’s the beauty of our training – anyone, anywhere can do it. It’s the most flexible way to give your teams the ongoing, up-to-date training they need – and it’s fun too. If you’d like to join Stecker as a Psybersafe client, get in touch today
Cyber security isn’t just for October

Last month, we talked about Cyber Security Month – a worldwide annual awareness event. But obviously, cyber security is for every day. So make it something that’s at the top of your mind when you open an email, see a great deal, get an unexpected WhatsApp message or a phone call from your ‘bank’.

In particular, as with Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Christmas shopping deals, take the time to check that you’re not clicking dodgy links, sending money to sellers who don’t really exist or giving away information to the wrong people.

To help you out, here’s an article from the National Cyber Security Centre on how to protect yourself from Black Friday scams.

In fact, their top tip is to turn on your multi-factor authentication – one of the quick and easy steps in our blog this month!
