Earth Day

In this issue...

We celebrate Earth Day!  And we look at the link between Psybersafe training and plastic bags.
Plus, do you ever think: "It will never happen to me" when it comes to cyber crime?
Take a peek at what people are saying about Psybersafe.

Do you reuse your shopping bags?

April 22nd was Earth Day, and the focus of this year’s campaign was ‘Planet vs Plastics’. Remember the days when we used hundreds of plastic bags every time we went to the supermarket?

You can read more about Earth Day, plastic bags and how we apply this type of behaviour science to our online training by

Think you’re too small to be hacked?

Unfortunately, you’re not.  Hackers don’t care who they target. In fact, sometimes smaller is better – large, global companies have the money to spend on the technologies and systems they need to keep them safe, while smaller businesses may think, or hope that  ‘it will never happen to me’.

That assumption makes you a target. In recent weeks, in the UK alone, we’ve seen reports of several schools hacked, the offices of the Big Issue (a charity) hacked by a ransomware gang and an attack on an individual NHS hospital trust.

And this is not only a concern for small businesses in the United Kingdom, but European businesses are being targeted too.

Here are a few more recent events:

At Psybersafe, we offer special rates for schools and charities, if you are aware of any charities or schools that may benefit, forward them the newsletter or ask them to get in touch.
